The simple dignity of a roof over your head

As part of our relief works on the Island, we maintain a regular supply-line of donated aid. Sent by sea in 40’ shipping containers, each one is bursting with potentially life-changing supplies.

Once landed and emptied, their useful life is only just beginning. These shipping containers go on to offer shelter to some of the poorest people of this still recovering nation. They are converted into temporary housing solutions that offer a much-needed upgrade for the thousands of displaced still living in the cardboard cities that sprang up after the 2010 earthquake.

For recovering families who have lost everything these containers offer the safety, security and dignity that only a roof over your head can provide.
