Urgent Appeal
Help us ease the suffering this winter in Ukraine
Since the conflict began in Ukraine, our volunteers have given over 5,400 hours of their time to help collect, sort, pack and ship humanitarian aid to displaced persons.
That’s 2,400 tonnes of aid delivered to more than 60 villages, towns and communities across the country.
At time of writing our volunteer drivers have covered over 990,000kms collecting supplies and delivering them onwards across Europe, and by the time you read these words, will have gone well past the one million mark.
Our greatest challenge at present is covering the shipping and logistics costs of delivering this aid to Ukraine. As you can imagine, the fuel costs alone are huge given the distances involved in delivery. Every cent that we raise allows us help a family in a displaced person’s centre, or get a dialysis machine to a local clinic, or medical supplies to an overburdened city hospital.
As we move into the winter months, things will only become more difficult for Ukrainian families. Unreliable or damaged infrastructure combined with shortages of fuel, food and warm clothing will make for a dark winter. With your help we can deliver food, clothing and portable stoves that a family can use for heating and cooking.
Project ESPWA is a volunteer based charity, with no salaries paid, meaning every cent that we receive goes directly to the delivery of vital humanitarian aid. As we head into what could be a very bleak winter, please take a moment to donate whatever you can by clicking on the ‘Donate’ button below.
Thank you.
