WARMER WINTER UKRAINE APPEAL

This winter will be the most challenging the people of Ukraine have faced so far.  Their energy infrastructure has been severely impacted by the conflict, with supplies of gas and electricity at best unreliable, and more typically, simply unavailable.  Winters in central Europe can be bitterly cold with children and the elderly most at risk.  In frontline towns and villages, especially those in range of the regular missile attacks, many apartment blocks and housing areas are still being used by people with nowhere else to go.  The crisis is so acute that ‘Warming Centres’ have been set up across the country giving mothers, children and older people a place to go to enjoy some warmth for a few hours each day.

With your help we can directly address this problem – you can bring the gift of warmth to a displaced Ukrainian family.

We have been able to begin production of some amazing portable stoves that can be used to heat homes, apartments and warming centres across the country.  These stoves are being produced locally in the Ukraine and can heat an area of up to 30 square metres.  Not only that, they can be used to cook warm meals as well as heat the general area.  These stoves will literally save lives this winter and we’re asking you to help us fund their production and fuelling.
